FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
IS THERE A BOOKING FEE?
Yes, there's a 10% booking fee to secure your date. This fee is non-refundable and ensures your day is exclusively yours. It covers admin, contract creation, and any pre-event calls. Please note, I can't hold dates without the fee and completed paperwork. If you're interested, let me know ASAP as dates can fill up quickly.
Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
Of course! Our packages are just a starting point. We can add or remove items to create a custom quote that fits your needs. Just let me know what you're looking for.
DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?
Yes. I have public liability insurance to £1 million, professional indemnity insurance and kit cover. And can provide a copy to your venue if they request this. Some grade 1 listed buildings require £10 million, so my insurance can be increased where needed but would be added to your invoice. This would be a minimal cost for a one day event.
DO WE MEET BEFORE the WEDDING DAY?
Absolutely. I always meet every couple before the wedding, either in person or via online call. In your package this appears as a couples’ consultation where we chat through timelines, must-have photos, family/group lists, and any venue logistics.
If you choose the Silk Collection, you also get:
Pre-wedding (engagement) shoot* – a relaxed session so you’re camera-confident before the big day.
Venue visit* where we walk the space together, plan spots for portraits, and sort wet-weather backups.
